Our Story - Celebrating Passion, Culture and Community Impact
Zofiya Culture was founded by a Zambian woman named Mubanga. The name Mubanga in the bemba tribe is symbolic for "strength". Being the youngest child and only girl, she grew up and raises a family in the diaaspora, a journey one would only write a book about. In this journey, character has had to be built, and at the core of this has always been a connection to home, our pride, our motherland.

She faced many cultural challenges, adapting to the western world and re-adapting to her homeland. She has grown to embrace the uniqueness of her country Zambia . that has a passion to represent Zambia in all its beauty through handcrafted and uniquely designed jewellery.

Zofiya is honored to partner with the Steve Biko Community Nursery School, located in Zambia's Bauleni township. The centre is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for these children aged 2 to 6, ensuring they receive a foundational education that might otherwise be out of reach.
